Chief Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing and industrial operations, is seeking a Chief Engineer to join their team. As a Chief Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the operational excellence of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Lead and manage the engineering team, including hiring, training, coaching, and personal development
• Oversee maintenance tasks for facility infrastructure and production equipment
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and pneumatic issues in machines and equipment
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance procedures
• Manage engineering budget and participate in overall operating budget process

What's Needed?

• 7+ years of related experience, especially as a Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer, or similar role
• People management experience (leading a team)
• Universal CFC EPA certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and use ladders up to 30 feet tall
