Responsibilities- Innovation and Technological Advancement:
Stay abreast of modern manufacturing trends and implement new technologies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality. - Collaboration with SME Leaders & Product Engineering:
Work with SMEs and product teams to design systems, create change identifiers, develop criteria standards, and establish approval processes. - Sustainability and Environmental Compliance:
Ensure automated processes and equipment meet regulatory and sustainability goals, focusing on reducing carbon footprint, minimizing waste, and optimizing resources. - Equipment Standardization & Coordination:
Lead direction and coordination of manufacturing equipment proposals to standardize equipment and processes within the region.
- Implement complex ideas into efficient automated systems for regional applications.
- Oversee design processes to align with regional operational goals.
- Prototype, conduct quality control and functional tests, troubleshoot system malfunctions.
- Adhere to project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor application and machine performance, produce reports and guidelines.
- Manage documentation and provide training to SMEs and operations teams.
- Collaborate with functional groups across the region.
- Travel up to 60% to various regional sites.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering with IT systems exposure.
- Understanding of Functional Safety and IEC/ANSI/ISA standards.
- Proficiency in Manufacturing Operations, AutoCAD/Solid Works, PLC programming, MS Project/Office/Outlook.
- Knowledge of Robotics, Vision systems, AI, Data, OT Networks and Security.
- Knowledge of battery manufacturing process.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
