We are seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Staffing Coordinator to join our skilled nursing team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and takes pride in helping a facility run smoothly. As the Staffing Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring our residents receive consistent, high‑quality care by supporting staffing operations and maintaining accurate schedules.

What You’ll Do
  • Create, update, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly staffing schedules for nursing and support departments
  • Monitor call‑offs, attendance, and staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts
  • Communicate promptly with department leaders regarding staffing needs, open shifts, and schedule changes
  • Support new hire onboarding by preparing schedules, updating rosters, and assisting with orientation logistics
  • Maintain accurate schedules, and attendance documentation
  • Respond to staff questions regarding schedules and shift availability
  • Collaborate with HR, nursing leadership, and department managers to support staffing strategies and managing PPD according to facility metrics.
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff, residents, and families
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support smooth facility operations
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Active CNA/CMT certification (required)
  • Experience in staffing, scheduling, or healthcare administration preferred
  • Skilled nursing or long‑term care experience is a plus
  • Strong computer skills and comfort with technology
  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed to support staffing needs
