CDLClass A Driver
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Delivery Driver is responsible for delivery of miscellaneous product, loading and unloading delivery truck, and picking up product from vendors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Deliver miscellaneous product to customers
- Pick up and deliver products to and from vendors as needed
- Safely operate all type of equipment/trucks and adhere to hazardous and CDL regulations
- Perform pre and post trip inspections of equipment and communicate issues to Operations Manager
- Transport trucks to and from maintenance facilities for service as needed
- Contribute to building a quality work environment at the Company by taking initiative, respecting others, and being a team player. Following the policies and procedures in the Company handbook. Using good communication by listening and sharing information to enable others to do their jobs effectively. Use proper language and etiquette, set a good example and treat the customer with respect and appreciation.

- Assist with other departments as needed: receiving, shipping, warehouse and maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
- Requires a high school diploma with 3+ years' experience driving vehicle types (48-foot length semi)
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret delivery invoices.
- Ability to effectively and professionally present information and respond to questions from customers, managers and other employees.
- Ability to operate a computer, work with minimal supervision, follow directions, and work under pressure.
- Fork-lift certified
- Follow DOT requirements including electronic log completion.
- Ability to use GPS system and have good organizational skills.
- Must have Class A and CDL, Hazmat Certification, Tanker Endorsement and a clear driving record.
- Must be detail oriented, reliable, and focused on accuracy.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds up to waist level. The employee must be able to maneuver (push and/or pull) a manual pallet jack with a pallet of goods weighing up to 1 ton.
