Job Summary
Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction. Offers patient/caregiver education and arranges adaptive equipment as needed.
Essential Functions- Performs evaluation procedures to assess disability level and recommends treatment plan.
- Provides treatment program and education to maximize patient function, adjusts goals as needed.
- Documents evaluation and treatment in compliance with standards, medical-legal and reimbursement procedures.
- Instructs and trains staff, nursing, other medical personnel and students on patient needs and rehabilitation services.
- Participates in ongoing process improvement, patient satisfaction initiatives, program development and marketing activities.
- Demonstrates productivity according to department standards.
- Improves skill areas by continuing education, competencies, and developing new patient care concepts.

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Preferred Master’s Degree.
- LIC‑Occupational Therapist – ; required upon hire.
- CRT-Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) – NB‑COT; required upon hire.
- LIC‑Driver’s License – ; required upon hire.
- CRT‑Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA; required 90 days, or ARC American Red Cross; required 90 days.
- CRT‑Hand Therapist, Certified (CHT) – HTCC; preferred.
