Corewell Health Primary Care St Joseph is seeking a full-time physician to join our dedicated team in Southwest Michigan - $100,000 in Loan Repayment Available

Qualifications

Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine. Compensation package includes a two-year salary guarantee with the opportunity to bonus based on productivity and a generous starting bonus!

Responsibilities
  • Assesses and monitors the medical needs of patients/significant others.
  • Provides quality medical services to patients in a cost effective, appropriate manner and ensures coverage of case load at all times.
  • Provides input into the development of policies and procedures as they related to medical practice and quality patient care.
  • Provides oversight of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners and others providing delegated services to patients.
  • Evaluates patients'/significant others'/staff educational needs and develops and implements appropriate teaching strategies or delegates to appropriate resources.
  • Documents in a manner consistent with regulatory standards.
  • Communicates with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services. Acts as a patient/family advocate.
  • Participates in ongoing process improvement activities through the development/application of clinical paths, process improvement and other related activities. Actively works with Corewell Health to meet financial and patient satisfaction goals.

  • LIC-Physician (MD) -  State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) -  State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • LIC-Controlled Substance -  State of Michigan - Upon Hire required
  • CRT-DEA Registration -  State of Michigan Upon Hire required
