To join our team as a Bilingual Strategic Energy Management (SEM) Coach. You will partner with commercial, industrial, and institutional clients to identify, evaluate, and implement energy efficiency initiatives. In this role, you will support one or more client sites through a mix of interactive group workshops and one‑on‑one coaching, helping organizations embed continuous improvement principles into their energy management practices.
This position is ideal for someone who combines strong technical expertise in energy efficiency with a passion for facilitating engaging, results‑driven learning experiences. You will guide teams through change, analyze industrial performance, identify energy‑saving opportunities, and translate insights into clear, actionable plans and reports. Experience with change management, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks is a strong asset.
Please note:Candidates must be fluently bilingual in English and French and able to travel to New Brunswick as required to support client engagements.
- Coach and motivate plant/facility leaders and teams to drive engagement and results.
- Guide development and execution of continuous improvement and site improvement plans.
- Lead engaging group workshops and one‑on‑one sessions that inspire participation and action.
- Create an energetic, collaborative environment that supports learning and progress.
- Analyze industrial process performance using monitoring equipment and statistical methods.
- Identify energy-saving opportunities through site walk‑throughs.
- Prepare clear, effective reports for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Fluent in English and French (required).
- 3+ years’ experience in energy management, sustainability, or utility programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation strongly preferred.
- Hands‑on facilitation experience delivering interactive workshops, trainings, or presentations in professional (non‑academic) settings.
- Engaging, confident facilitator who encourages participation, dialogue, and progress.
- Practical experience with energy efficiency in commercial, industrial, or institutional environments.
- Background in change management, team facilitation, or coaching.
- Strong communication, relationship‑building, analytical, and data interpretation skills.
