Drives ready mix trucks in a safe and professional manner in the plant yard, on public highways/roads, and at various job sites to deliver products. Deliveries will be made in both commercial and residential areas.

• Maintains equipment in a safe and clean condition.
• Performs pre and post-trip truck inspections.
• Aligns mixer drum under disbursement chute at the plant to receive product into the mixer truck drum.
• Drives ready mix truck to location for unloading.
• Operates ready mix truck to release concrete down truck chute into area to be poured with concrete.
• Cleans truck after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on truck.
• Places and operates chutes to deliver product where directed.
• Other duties as directed by supervisor.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to work well with others in a group or one on one setting.
• May be subject to drug testing and physical agility testing.

• Must possess a valid state commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A or Class
  
  B.
• Must possess a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard.
