Job Opening for a Victim/Witness Coordinator
Job for Washington County Attorney's Investigations Bureau. FULL TIME WITH BENEFITS / $21.26 Per Hour. Protects the rights of victims and witnesses by performing a variety of professional and technical duties to organize, coordinate and deliver crisis intervention and multi-disciplinary support to victims, families, and professionals involved with criminal cases while treating victims and witnesses with dignity, respect, courtesy, and sensitivity.
Education and Experience- Associates degree in behavioral, social science, or related disciplines appropriate to the position, such as criminal justice, psychology or sociology.

Education and Experience:
A combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences related to the victim/witness coordinator field.
- Must possess a valid Utah Driver's License.
- Applicants must sign consent for and submit to a criminal background.
- The ability to type 65 wpm.
- 40 Hour Utah Core Advocacy Training
- 40 Hour Utah Sexual Assault Counselor Training
- Utah Victim's Assistance Academy
- Other specialized victim services training and experience as determined by the County Attorney or Investigations Bureau Chief
- Preference may be given to individuals with bilingual abilities.
