$20.40 to $26.48 per hour – In addition to the hourly rate, Retail Store Managers can earn a lucrative monthly bonus, contributing to a major portion of total yearly income.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a PLUS) to oversee day‑to‑day store operations, promote a positive and productive environment, and lead, coach, and develop store employees. Responsibilities include recruiting and retaining top talent, maximizing financial goals, and managing customer relations. The Store Manager reports to the District Manager and must analyze financial statements, comply with asset‑protection protocols, and promote new customer acquisitions through internal and external marketing tools.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers and rapidly addressing issues.
  • Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
  • Recruit top talent through company‑prescribed channels.
  • Open and close the store, counting cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure all procedures protect assets.
  • Ensure asset protection via inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
  • Administer processes and procedures in inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise reporting.
  • Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting.
  • Meet or exceed First Cash operating standards.
  • Monitor loan qualification and buying processes for integrity of all loans issued.
  • Complete assigned task and training for self‑development.
  • Communicate clearly with employees to understand store mission and profit objectives.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
  • Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must perform duties and tasks for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
  • Demonstrated supervision ability.
  • Ability to work with firearms and obtain certification.
  • May assist customers on the exterior of the building or retrieve products stored outside.
  • Minimum age: 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Flexible to work multiple locations as business needs dictate.
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Work 45+ hours per week; hours vary with business needs.
  • Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems and common office machines.
  • Multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Cash handling experience required.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.
