PrimaryJob Duties
- Is responsible to the Lead Quality Assurance Auditor
- Completes Continuing Analysis Surveillance System (CASS) Audits that include, but are not limited to:
- Internal Audits (within the Sky West Maintenance Department)
- External Audits (Repair and Overhaul Vendors, On Call Maintenance Providers, Fuel Providers, etc.)
- Special Audits (pertaining to concerns identified through trends, alerts, and internal or external issues)
- Allocated Audits for the C.A.S.E. Organization
- Inputs audit data into the Quality Management Software (RizePoint) and the C.A.S.E. Database
- Updates the C.A.S.E. Register regarding allocated audits
- Assists the Manager of Quality Assurance/CASS in administering the Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System
- Schedules time and travel to accomplish all assignments
- Corresponds with auditee
- Follows up with auditee on overdue responses
- Additional Duties-Responsibilities as identified in Sky West Airlines General Maintenance Manual (GMM) Sections, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other Sky West Airlines Manuals
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the Lead Quality Assurance Auditor, Supervisor of Quality Assurance, and the Manager of Quality Assurance/CASS
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficient in the following skills:
- Technical Writing
- Communication (oral and written)
- Computer Literacy
- Quality Management Software
- PDF Editing Applications
- Microsoft Office including:
- Word Processing (at least 40 wpm)
- Excel Spreadsheets
- Outlook
- Teams
- Relevant experience with:
- Performing auditing techniques
- Quality Manuals, Operations Specifications (Ops Specs), and applicable Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs)
- Systems Analysis, Risk Assessment/Management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Human Factors behavior and training
- Language fluency in both English and Spanish
- Level III 1A Authorization under procedures of the Coordinating Agency of Supplier Evaluation (C.A.S.E.) Organization
- 2+ years of experience auditing Repair and Overhaul Vendors, Aircraft Maintenance Providers, and/or Aircraft Fuel Vendors
- Must be able to perform all physical requirements and essential job functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must be willing and able to travel for audit performance an average of 2-4 days every week
- This is a Department of Transportation safety sensitive position
