Key Responsibilities- Install electrical systems for equipment, lighting, control systems etc. in industrial environment.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems, including motors, controls, PLCs, and wiring.
- Support installation and modification of electrical, water, and gas delivery systems in a manufacturing setting.
- Collaborate with mechanical maintenance technicians to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility infrastructure.
- Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality Management System (QMS) guidelines.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement projects and equipment upgrades.
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician (Utah or transferable license).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong experience in industrial electrical work, preferably within a manufacturing or process facility.
- Solid understanding of electrical safety protocols, NFPA 70E, and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Proficient in using hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and test equipment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Industrial maintenance experience, including working knowledge of:
- PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and control systems.
- Mechanical systems such as hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC.
- Machine assembly and equipment installation.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office Suite).
- Familiarity with cleanroom or high‑purity manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Physical requirements:
regular standing, lifting, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. - Must be safety-conscious and willing to adapt to evolving processes and technology.
