Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented CNC Router Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience operating CNC router equipment and a strong understanding of machining processes, quality standards, and shop safety. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC router machines to produce high‑quality parts according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC router machines to produce parts that meet engineering drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD files, and work instructions
- Perform machine setups, tool changes, and basic program adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues
- Work closely with engineering, programming, and production teams to meet deadlines
- Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures
Minimum of 2 years of CNC router operating experience.
- Experience with CNC router machines;
Laguna Smart Shop M experience strongly preferred - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic understanding of tooling, fixturing, and materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with CAM software and CNC programming adjustments
- Background in manufacturing, aerospace, woodworking, plastics, or composite materials
- Familiarity with shop inspection tools and quality control processes
