We’re looking for a Machinist who can make a difference and utilize their skills and experience to its full potential.

Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts. Apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, and machining procedures.

• High School Graduate or GED
• Prefer 1 year certificate in magically Machining Proficiency and 1–2 years of applicable experience
• Must be 18 years old or older

• Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes and milling machines.
• Measure and examine completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers.
• Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools to perform precision machining operations.
• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials onto machines.
• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
• Follow prepared instructions outlining methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products.
• Select appropriate tools and materials for komme work.
• Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment to diagnose malfunctions and determine need for adjustments or repairs.
• Perform minor preventive maintenance.
