Collaborating with a professional, self‑motivated team, we are expanding rapidly and looking for an experienced Branch Manager to lead one of our locations.
Responsibilities Sales & Customer Relations- Work with existing and new customers to generate revenue opportunities for the store and execute plans to capitalize on those opportunities.
- Handle COD accounts.
- Log lost sales.
- Review and report on sales numbers.
- Manage invoices.
- Review credits.
- Work with salespeople to visit customers.
- Ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
- Follow up with customers who have not called.
- Deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage and lead a store team to consistently deliver high levels of customer service and business results.
- Handle payroll and account for hours worked and deliveries.
- Hold department and all‑store meetings and solicit feedback from team members.
- Train front‑counter staff on phone procedures and provide ongoing training.
- Provide valuable and actionable feedback during review periods and ongoing performance discussions.
- Manage employee lateness, absenteeism, performance issues, policy violations and other coaching or corrective actions in accordance with company practices.
- Take a proactive approach to team member satisfaction.
- Oversee building maintenance and maintain location cleanliness, store security, and a safe working environment.
- Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude and maintain professional conduct and appearance at all times.
- Keep management informed of competition and share best practices in weekly reports.
- Maintain communications with the General Manager and assign team members to continually improve location service levels, productivity, and profitability.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Promote workplace safety and secure and transfer cash or other assets.
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Experience in retail sales or a similar supervisory role preferred.
