This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated occupational therapist to be appointed to our recently regraded Level 4 Lymphoedema OT role. You will have the opportunity to contribute and apply your clinical expertise in the management of lymphoedema patients of St George Hospital. This includes the delivery of an early intervention and prevention of lymphoedema model of care, and the management of chronic lower limb, upper limb, head/neck and complex lymphoedema patients.
As a level 4 senior clinician, this role also includes responsibilities for providing consultation across the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District in the area of Lymphoedema management, provision of supervision, leadership of quality improvement initiatives, leadership in evaluation and reporting on services, development of service improvements, development of education tools and the teaching of other health care colleagues and students.

We have a strong focus on clinical and leadership skill development, and strive to provide consistent high quality occupational therapy services across the campus. Our department consists of approximately 38 occupational therapists and support staff, and we work across a variety of inpatient, outpatient and community services.
Clinically we provide services to aged care, acute surgical and medical, trauma, neurological, rehabilitation, palliative care, lymphoedema and hands patients. We coordinate a robust student program and provide a variety of professional development opportunities. As a level 4 Senior Clinician, you'll be expected to plan, coordinate, and implement in-depth levels of clinical expertise and extensive specialised knowledge within Occupational Therapy in order to provide high quality Lymphoedema management to patients of the Lymphoedema Service consistent with NSW Health, South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) policies, procedures and standards.

- Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and current registration with AHPRA and demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning.
- Extensive post graduate clinical experience in lymphoedema assessment and treatment, including head and neck, with eligibility for ALA accreditation and a demonstrated ability to provide consultation within and external to the organisation.
- Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, throughout all organisational level.
