Residential Direct Support Professional - DSP

Overview

TURN Community Services is looking for an energetic and dedicated full- or part-time Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in St. George, UT. Earn $16.50 per hour while making an impact by bringing joy, independence, and adventure into the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role supports individuals in their homes with daily tasks and community activities.

As our Residential Direct Support Professional, you help individuals in their homes by assisting with meal planning, hygiene, and daily tasks to help them feel their best. You may also accompany them to activities such as movies, hikes, national parks visits, or day trips (e.g., Las Vegas). You are a mentor, cheerleader, and friend, celebrating every smile, breakthrough moment, and success.

TURN Community Services was founded in 1973 by parents who sought better services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We support more than 850 individuals across a range of programs, from day services and residential living to art center programs, summer camp, and supported employment opportunities. What’s needed from a Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP):

• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• A reliable personal vehicle to transport individuals to various places in the community (preferred)
• No prior experience required — we provide all necessary training
• Must be able to pass a background check upon hire; any job offer will be based on the results
