Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Compensation: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
Work Location: In-Person

Job Description

Under moderate-to-general supervision, the RBT provides support within a positive care environment, modeling healthy behaviors aligned with treatment goals. These include improvements in mental health, independence, relationship building, and community integration. The goal is to help clients lead satisfying and productive lives through consistent support and teaching.

Essential Job Functions
  • Complete assessments of functional living skills and assist in developing individualized service goals.
  • Monitor client progress and provide consistent community-based support.
  • Collaborate with families, schools, landlords, transportation providers, and employers.
  • Deliver individualized crisis response according to client treatment plans.
  • Communicate relevant information with the care team and external providers as appropriate.
  • Complete timely and accurate charting, documentation, and progress notes.
  • Protect client confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and Crimson Heights policy.
  • Participate in service planning meetings, staff meetings, and ongoing trainings.
Independent Living Skills May Include:
  • Social

    Skills:

    Understanding body language, eye contact, conversation skills, empathy, and community-based recreation.
  • Executive Functioning: Goal setting, budgeting, hygiene, safety, time management, and task follow-through.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Asking for help or breaks, expressing needs clearly, conflict resolution, and stress management.
  • Community Access: Using public transportation, job seeking, attending school, and community resource engagement.
Education & Experience
  • Required: High school diploma and 6–12 months of experience working with individuals with autism, op positional defiant disorder (ODD), or conduct disorder.
  • Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, human services, or a related field. Knowledge of behavior analysis is a plus.
