About the Position The Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Professional Engineer (PE) will play a critical role in supporting field operations across heavy civil projects ranging from $500K to $10M.

This position is based in St. George, UT and supports work throughout Southern Utah and the Four Corners region.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform construction staking and layout for earthwork, utilities, roadways, bridges, and site development projects Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and project coordinate systems Operate GPS (RTK), robotic total stations, data collectors, and related survey equipment Interpret civil plans, specifications, and CAD files to translate design into accurate field layout Verify grades, elevations, alignments, and slopes to ensure work is built within design tolerances Conduct topographic surveys, boundary verification (as needed), and existing condition documentation Provide quantity tracking support and assist with progress measurements Prepare and maintain as-built drawings and survey documentation Coordinate daily with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to support production and schedule Ensure compliance with safety standards and company quality control procedures This role is ideal for a licensed professional who enjoys working in the field, supporting operations, and directly contributing to successful project execution.
