* Performing engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure
* Work on engineering planning and design projects
* Prepare reports
* Develop plans and specifications
* Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects
* System modeling
* Permitting and alternative analysis
* Preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables
* Data entry and analysis
* Provide engineering services during construction
* Participate in field activities such as pilot testing## Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering
* Minimum academic requirements include coursework in physical, chemical, and biological processes; hydraulics; and principles of water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design
* 0 to 4 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering
* Engineer-in-Training certification
* Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Work well in a team environment
* Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
* Proficient in MS Word and Excel##

Preferred Qualifications
* Master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering
* Familiarity with computer applications including ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and water and sewer hydraulic calculations/modeling software (Water
