Dates of appointment:
May 1, 2026 – June 30, 2026

• Master of Arts in History or related field required.
• Mastery of the subject area as related to the course description.
• Previous experience or training with Quercus is an asset.

• PhD in History preferred.
• Demonstrated evidence of superior undergraduate teaching.

• Develop seminar syllabus and prepare course materials.
• Teach two two‑hour classes weekly (in‑person lectures).
• Mark assessments and supervise TA(s) in accordance with the CUPE 3902 Unit 1 Collective Agreement.
• Conduct scheduled office hours (1 hour / week).

Estimated course enrolment: 40 students

Estimated hours per position:
Approximately 80 hours

Lecture:
Tuesday & Thursday 1:00–3:00 pm

• Sessional Lecturer I: $9,820.70
• Sessional Lecturer 1, Long Term: $10,510.36
• Sessional Lecturer II: $10,510.36
• Sessional Lecturer II, Long Term: $10,760.28
• Sessional Lecturer III: $10,760.28
• Sessional Lecturer III, Long Term: $11,030.36

If collective agreement rates differ, those rates shall prevail.
