Job Description:

Superintendent - Paving & Underground Utilities

We are a growing paving and underground utility contractor seeking a hands-on Superintendent to oversee field operations on a variety of local projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience with civil site work, and the ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and schedules efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day field operations for paving, grading, and underground utility installations
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and workforce to ensure timely project completion
• Ensure job site safety, quality, and compliance with project plans and specifications
• Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and field teams
• Track production and help maintain project schedules and budgets

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in heavy civil, paving, or underground utilities
• Proven leadership in managing crews and subcontractors
• Strong knowledge of DOT standards, utility installation, and asphalt paving
• Ability to read plans and interpret specifications
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
