Position Title: Blender Operator

Wage: $18.50 - $22.00/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 12:30pm - 8:30pm

• Operate industrial blending and mixing equipment to produce food and spice products according to production schedules and batch formulas
• Weigh, measure and load raw ingredients into blenders in accordance with established recipes and specifications
• Monitor blending processes to ensure proper mixing times, speeds and product consistency
• Make adjustments to equipment or processes as needed to ensure consistent quality and efficient production
• Assist with equipment setup, changeovers and cleaning between batches
• Perform basic troubleshooting of blending equipment and report mechanical issues to maintenance or supervision
• Disassemble, clean and reassemble blending equipment following sanitation, allergen control and food safety procedures
• Complete required production and quality documentation accurately
• Follow all quality control guidelines, food safety requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area

• Previous experience as a blender operator or in food manufacturing preferred
• Ability to follow batch formulas, recipes, and written instructions accurately
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety and sanitation procedures preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, push and pull
• Ability to lift, carry, and move raw materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to handle bags, containers, and ingredients used in food and spice production
• Manual dexterity and coordination required to operate blending equipment and controls
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Visual acuity required for reading batch sheets, measuring ingredients, and inspecting product quality
• Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment
• Comfortable working around spice dust, strong aromas, noise, varying temperatures, and food-grade cleaning chemicals
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hairnets, gloves, safety glasses, respirators (if required), and hearing protection
