The Security Guard is responsible for the access control and safety of the assigned facilities; ensuring that all company policies, procedures, and related rules are strictly and consistently implemented and enforced. This position is key in manning the access point for all employees, visitors, vendors, and admittance of new clients, running operations efficiently and effectively to achieve the overall safety and security goals of the facilities.

• Control access of visitors, clients, vendors, and employees to appropriate locations.
• Follow the screenings for access control set for Newport Healthcare.
• Provide excellent customer service while greeting employees and guests in a friendly manner.
• Ensure the highest level of security is being provided.
• Inspect and evaluate security activities.
• Control traffic by directing drivers.
• Stay abreast of all security incidents and ensure proper documentation is completed.
• Respond and communicate to all issues respective to the security of the site affecting both the client and company.
• Perform campus security rounds.
• Maintain a clean work environment.

• Minimum one (1) year of security experience required.
• Security experience in a healthcare facility setting is required.
• Must become CPR/CPI certified.

Compensation for this role ranges from $18-$23 per hour depending on education and experience. We are committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation. An individual’s pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Additionally, we consider internal equity to ensure fairness within our organization.
