• Customer-focused sales, following HOM Furniture’s proven sales method.
• Listen to and adhere to a client’s needs in terms of style, price, timeline, and other factors.
• Maintain high accuracy with writing invoices, special orders, and customer follow‑up.
• Ensure an exceptional experience for all who work with you.
• Keep the client informed with any changes that may happen in design, manufacturing, or delivery process after an order is placed.
• Stay informed on all new and existing product lines to provide accurate information to clients.
• Assist in maintaining the appearance of the sales floor by dusting and vacuuming when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be working toward or have a high school diploma or GED; 2‑year or 4‑year college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years exceptional customer service experience required.
• Big‑ticket top writer commission sales experience preferred (e.g., home furnishings, automotive, recreational vehicles, appliances).
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
