Job Summary
The Server’s primary responsibility is to uphold the restaurant’s high standards of excellence by providing the highest quality of service to guests. The Server is responsible for taking food and beverage orders, entering orders promptly and accurately, serving food and beverages, coordinating with the kitchen to ensure timely service and food quality, clearing tables as well as completing any set‑up, side work or closing duties as assigned.

- Must have the ability to provide professional and courteous guest service.

- Must have good organizational skills, the ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Must have the ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate both verbally and in writing.

- Must have the ability to interact with guests in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner.
- Must have a working knowledge of computers and basic math skills.
- Previous serving experience preferred, but not required.
- Assists all guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Performs job duties and responsibilities in a cost‑effective manner and within budgetary guidelines.
- Presents menus, answers questions, takes food and beverage orders, places orders, delivers orders, checks back after delivery of order to ensure guest satisfaction, observes guests to respond to any additional needs.
- Maintains table appearance by pre‑bussing, checking drink levels, removing clutter and providing adequate napkins, condiments etc.
- Provides check for payment and provides change as needed.
- Is knowledgeable of all menu items, specials and restaurant offers or promotions.
- Follows all customer service, adult beverage and cash handling policies and procedures.
- Maintains a clean, organized and appropriately stocked work area.
- Thoroughly completes any assigned set‑up, side work or closing duties.
- Understands and applies all restaurant safety and security procedures as required to maintain a safe and secure environment for associates and guests.
- Keeps supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention so prompt corrective action can be taken.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

Summary
The Server works primarily indoors in a temperature‑controlled environment. This position requires continuous standing and walking, and frequent lifting, carrying, bending and reaching throughout the entire shift. Hazards may include, but are not limited to, exposure to computer terminals, standard cleaning chemicals, and hot surfaces/appliances. All restaurant employees are required to wear rubber‑soled shoes and must follow proper safety precautions at all times to avoid injuries.
Compensation& Benefits
The target pay range for this position is $11.13 per hour.
This position offers both full‑time and part‑time opportunities with great flexibility. Some weekends or evenings may be required. Positions based in Illinois or Minnesota may be eligible for Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) or Paid Time Off (PTO) in accordance with applicable state and local laws.
