Job Summary

A quality liaison acts as a focal point for customer problems, questions, or concerns and coordinates with the proper company personnel to provide timely and accurate answers. This position requires strong people skills. The role may evolve to full‑time after a part‑time start.

Responsibilities
  • On‑site quality representation for automotive supplier clients
  • Attend all customer quality, warranty, engineering, and vehicle launch meetings
  • Directly collaborate with customer quality and engineering teams to understand quality concerns, collect data, analyze measurements, and identify root causes
  • Establish interim containment actions and permanent corrective actions with client teams
  • Present client actions and countermeasures to address identified quality concerns
  • Interact with customer production teams and managers in the production environment
  • Adhere to and practice safety guidelines in the production environment
  • Work and communicate within the Quality Strategies teams to develop concepts, goals, and directions that increase efficiency and professionalism
Requirements
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing and automotive repair environments
  • Experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing equipment such as tightening loose bolts or loose wires (no extensive repair or mechanic certification required)
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in basic computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in creating, developing, and charting data related to automotive quality engineering
  • Ability to use, read, and understand measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, scales, force gauges)
  • Outstanding communication skills in both presentation and listening, with the ability to follow directions communicated by client, customer, and Quality Strategies management teams
  • Professional attitude, appearance, and respect for authority
