• CVT certification preferred — but if you've got solid hands-on experience as a veterinary technician, we'd love to talk with you too!
• Broad knowledge of animal science, basic pharmacology, and strong math skills for accurate dosing
• Confidence in handling and restraint
• A focus on patient safety, communication and teamwork
• Strong computer and record‑keeping skills (Avimark experience a plus)
• Comfort with anesthesia, dentistry and radiology (or eagerness to learn)
• Ability to adapt quickly and stay calm in a fast‑paced environment
• Compassion, professionalism and a genuine love of learning

• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• In‑house lab testing and diagnostics
• Radiology and laser therapy
• Surgical prep and assistance
• Dentistry and dental radiographs
• Pre‑ and post‑op care
• Anesthesia and cardiac monitoring
• Client education and maintaining accurate medical records

$21–$28 per hour
