Overview
The person holding this position renders care to patients in the dermatology office and coordinates the nursing function in dermatology as directed by the physicians and under the direction of the nursing supervisor. In addition, the person holds responsibilities assisting physicians with surgical procedures, laser procedures and performs histotechnology tasks as necessary.
Schedule and Location- Full-time | 73 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud
- Day shifts Tuesday 7am-4:30pm, Wednesday 6:45am-4:30pm, Thursday 7am-4:30pm, and Friday 6:45am-4:30pm
- Mondays, Weekends, and Holidays off!
Starting pay begins at $23.29 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
Pay range: $23.29 - $34.94 per hour

- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- Mohs surgery/ histotechnology experience (embedding, cutting, staining, mounting) required
- Current licensure as a licensed practical nurse in the State of Minnesota required
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy
- Advanced training and/or certification in histotechnology preferred
- Possesses the ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and hospital staff
- Possess an understanding of Ultraviolet therapy
- Surgical skills (assisting, equipment knowledge, minor independent procedure ability)
