This position will manage new product launches by collaborating with customers, vendors, and internal departments to meet project needs and is responsible for the development of production tooling that meets customer requirements.
Pay is $100k - $115k based on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize casting manufacturing process with Product Engineers utilizing CAD and simulation software
- Design and oversee construction of tooling through testing into production release
- Follow up and assist in the resolution of production problems related to tooling.
- Ensure quality of work, efficient material and workflow, proper use and care of equipment and machines and proper application of production methods.
- Track samples, initiate corrective action request and maintain communication with customers and corporate Sales on sample status required.
- Attend sample, Product Impact Engineering (PIE) and design review meetings
- Maintain adequate supply of raw materials, production supplies and tools to support continuous operations
- Maintain related inventory records, as required.
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in proper working order.
- Maintain open communications with employees and work with employees to mutually resolve problems to enhance morale and promote a union‑free environment.
- Maintain conformance with Company policies, work rules and regulations, coaching employees and /or initiating disciplinary actions, as required.
- Maintain awareness of improved operational methods, production processes, or equipment which improve quality and efficiency and reduce cost.
- Enforce the proper use of safety equipment and maintain departmental housekeeping to produce a safe work environment.
- Coach employees to reinforce safe work practices.
- Maintain communications with other shifts and departments to promote efficient operations.

- Bachelor’s in business administration or engineering or equivalent.
- 5 to 7 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent root cause/corrective action and problem‑solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
