Quanex is looking for a Skilled Machine Operator II – 3rd Shift to join our team located in St. Cloud, Minnesota
. In this role, you will set‑up, operate and verify the quality of work on assigned machine(s) in a manner that consistently meets production standards and qualifications. These machines include moulders, copes, beam saws, Onsrud, CNC, or tenoners.
The level for each machine operator is determined by management based on the ability to train others and the number of machines the operator can run while meeting production standards and quality requirements.
Salary: $24.60–$29.40 per hour (rate includes 20% shift differential), pay based on experience
New Hire Bonus: $1,000, payout increments at 30‑days, 60‑days and 6‑month employment
Schedule: Sunday, 7:30 pm–6:00 am;
Monday–Thursday 10:00 pm–6:00 am

- Monitor product to ensure that quality standards are being met.
- Set‑up, operate, and verify work on assigned machine.
- Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly complete all documentation related to the position.
- Ability to train others as requested.
- Promote teamwork by cooperating and supporting co‑workers.
- High School or equivalent education, required.
- 6 months+ of related machine operating experience, preferred.
- Ability to read prints and measuring instruments.
- Ability to perform detailed work that requires high levels of concentration.
- Positive attitude and team‑oriented mentality.
