As a maintenance technician, you will repair, troubleshoot and maintain critical production and assembly equipment, and support facilities operations.
Responsibilities- Adjust and make minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Support on‑site EHS and Compliance initiatives.
- Steam‑clean or shampoo carpets.
- Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
- Clean laboratory equipment using solvents, brushes, rags, and power cleaning equipment.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Move equipment and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Support set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.
- Follow safety standards and report any safety concerns to leadership.
- Participate in meetings to enhance departmental communication and efficiency.
- Train peers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma / GED.
- 0‑2 years related manufacturing experience.
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements with upper and lower extremities.
- Capacity for lengthy visual concentration and good hand/eye/foot coordination.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑task production environment.
- Solid dexterity, mechanical and electrical skills.
- Patience to see tasks through.
- Honest, dependable, and can follow written or verbal directions.
- Ability to use personal protective equipment.
- Flexibility to work overtime and a flexible schedule.
- Team player or able to work independently, as needed.
- Desire to learn and a professional, positive attitude.
Hourly pay range: $20.00 – $25.00. Position eligible for a performance bonus.
