Technician II, Lab at Sola Optical
Join our team to support quality assurance, production, and manufacturing in optical lens production. In this role, you will work with an impactful team, ensuring products meet industry standards.
Responsibilities- Performs routine and semi‑routine production duties associated with various aspects of lens production, paying close attention to quality, quantity, and efficiency.
- Qualifies and inspects products to ensure compliance with CZV specifications and standards.
- Complies with all safety regulations and maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Maintains appropriate written and/or computer documentation.
- Performs tasks within a specified department; knows how to perform a majority of the tasks.
- May receive cross‑training in other departments.
- Executes additional tasks as needed.
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- 2–3 years related experience.
- Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
- Can perform repetitive movements with upper and lower extremities.
- Requires ability to sustain lengthy periods of visual concentration and good hand‑eye‑foot coordination.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑task production environment and maintain focus for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and symmetry.
- Solid dexterity and mechanical skills.
- Patience to see tasks through fully.
- Honest, dependable, and follows directions written or verbal.
- Good communication with associates in a clear, concise manner.
- Professional demeanor.
Pay range: $18.50 – $23.00 per hour. Eligible for performance bonus. Benefits include medical plans, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
