HR Intern – Organizational Development (Master’s Level)
Location:
St. Cloud, MN

Why This Internship MattersThis internship provides meaningful exposure to organizational development within a growing, mission‑driven company. As an HR Intern – Organizational Development, you will:
- Help define and document career pathways across functions
- Contribute to competency model development and job architecture initiatives
- Support the configuration of structured career progression within our Learning Management System (Docebo)
- Assist in aligning learning programs to workforce planning and business strategy
- Partner with HR and department leaders to clarify and document career paths
- Assist in defining job levels, competencies, and skill progression frameworks
- Research and recommend best practices in career architecture and organizational development
- Develop structured documentation outlining career pathways, role expectations, and advancement criteria
- Support the design of competency models aligned with business strategy
- Build and configure career path structures within Docebo
- Upload, organize, and maintain learning content aligned to defined career paths
- Map learning programs to job levels and competency requirements
- Audit and maintain LMS data accuracy and reporting functionality
- Create internal communication materials to support rollout of career path initiatives
- Analyze feedback and engagement data related to learning and development initiatives
- Provide project management support for OD initiatives, including tracking milestones and deliverables
- Assist with documentation updates and continuous improvement efforts
- Thinks systemically and enjoys building structured frameworks
- Is analytical and comfortable synthesizing information from multiple sources
- Communicates complex ideas clearly and professionally
- Is highly organized and detail‑oriented
- Maintains confidentiality and professionalism
- Enjoys both independent work and cross‑functional collaboration
- Completion of at least one year of a Master’s degree program in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Industrial‑Organizational Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or a related field
- Academic coursework in organizational design, competency modeling, talent development, workforce planning, or learning systems
- Demonstrated experience through coursework, research projects, assistantships, or internships related to career development or organizational effectiveness
- Prior internship or applied experience in HR, Talent Development, or Organizational Development
- Experience supporting LMS administration or learning program coordination
- Exposure to competency frameworks, job leveling structures, or career path modeling methodologies
- Foundational knowledge of organizational development principles and change management concepts
- Understanding of career path frameworks and competency‑based progression models
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design principles
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to analyze and organize data in Excel
- Comfort learning and navigating HR systems and learning management systems
- Experience with Docebo or another LMS platform preferred
