Job Overview:
The
Senior Human Resources Generalist
is a trusted partner to management and employees, playing a critical role in delivering high-impact HR solutions that support business goals and strengthen organizational culture. This position balances hands-on execution with strategic influence, overseeing day-to-day HR operations while driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, performance, and compliance.
The role provides end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle, including employee relations, benefits administration, talent acquisition, performance management, and policy implementation. In addition, the Senior HR Generalist proactively partners with management to identify workforce needs, mitigate risk, and implement best-practice HR programs that promote consistency, accountability, and a positive employee experience.
This position may support functional areas including benefits administration, employee relations, training and development, onboarding, performance management, recruitment and employment, affirmative action, and employment law compliance, serving as a key contributor to both operational excellence and long-term people strategy.
Position Duties:
- Serve as a trusted HR partner to leaders and employees, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, corrective action, and conflict resolution.
- Serve as a partner to the HR team on employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations and ensuring consistent, compliant outcomes.
- Administer and support employee benefits programs, including enrollments, life events, vendor coordination, and employee education.
- Work in partnership with the HR team to provide end-to-end talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning, recruiting strategy, interviewing, offer development, and onboarding.
- Support performance management processes, goal setting, coaching, and annual review cycles.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Partner with the HR Team to coordinate onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a consistent, engaging, and compliant new-hire experience.
- Support training and development initiatives, including leadership development, compliance training, and employee skill-building programs.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems; ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and audit readiness.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational changes, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Support affirmative action planning, EEO reporting, and other regulatory requirements as applicable.
- Analyze HR trends and metrics to inform decision-making and recommend improvements to programs and processes.
- Act as a change agent, supporting organizational initiatives and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Collaborate with payroll, finance, and external vendors to ensure seamless HR operations and employee support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or a related field required.
- 5+ years of progressive human resources experience is required.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (UKG, Everything Benefits, KPAY)
- Previous banking industry experience, a plus!
- HR Certification through SHRM or HRCI, preferred.

Pay:$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year. Starting pay is determined based on several factors, which can include the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic area.
