Job Description

The Supervisor of Imaging Scheduling plays a vital role in ensuring patients and referring providers experience timely, accurate, and compassionate access to imaging services. This position oversees the day-to-day operations of the Imaging Scheduling Office, leading a system-wide scheduling team responsible for outpatient exam scheduling, data entry, and patient coordination for diagnostic imaging and therapy services (excluding Radiation Oncology).

This role coordinates patient schedules, ensures accurate and compliant exam scheduling, and serves as a key liaison to clinics, hospitals, physicians, and the community. The Supervisor partners closely with radiologists and imaging leaders to manage modality schedules, special exam requirements, prior authorizations, and service recovery efforts-always with a focus on efficiency, quality, and patient experience.

As a people leader, this position hires, trains, develops, and evaluates scheduling staff, supports ongoing education and process improvement, and ensures scheduling policies and procedures evolve to meet future needs. The Supervisor also supports volunteer coordination, maintains scheduling systems, and fosters strong relationships through regular communication, clinic outreach, and collaboration.

Schedule:
  • Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks
  • Day shift | Monday - Friday | Hours generally between 7 a.m.

    - 5 p.m.
Pay and Benefits:
  • Starting pay begins at $19.15 per hour and increases with experience
    • Pay range: $19.15 - $28.71 per hour

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of office experience and working knowledge of office procedures, medical terminology, anatomy/physiology, and computer systems.
  • Associate Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience preferred.
