Job SummaryThis organization operates nationally recognized, accredited opioid treatment programs dedicated to helping individuals affected by prescription drug use and opioid addiction regain stability and control of their lives. We are committed to treating every patient with dignity, respect, and compassion throughout each phase of their recovery journey.
This role provides direct clinical services, including counseling, case management, and documentation, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
Essential Functions- Conduct patient intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfers, completing all required documentation.
- Document patient progress through individual sessions, group counseling, and clinical interactions.
- Complete psychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans within required time frames.
- Identify clinical and case management needs and coordinate appropriate services.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling as required.
- Deliver weekly direct patient counseling through individual and/or group sessions.
- Educate patients on treatment processes, related health concerns, and recovery strategies.
- Report suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, and patient grievances in accordance with policy.
- Collect urine drug screens and obtain initial patient photo identification.
- Assist in monitoring patient activities on center premises.
- Participate in community outreach and engagement activities as assigned.
- Maintain familiarity with and adherence to the Policy and Procedures Manual.
- Ensure compliance with all confidentiality regulations, including 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA (45 CFR Parts 160 & 164).
- Maintain required licensure and/or certification in accordance with state regulations.
- Participate in preparation for audits, surveys, and inspections conducted by CARF, state agencies, DEA, Board of Pharmacy, and other regulatory bodies.
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings.
- Comply with all local, state, federal, and organizational policies and procedures.
- Act in the best interest of the program and organization, safeguarding proprietary information.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by clinic, regional, or corporate leadership.
Education / Licensure / Certification
- Active, unrestricted licensure in one of the following:
LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or LMHC - Experience in the substance use treatment field is preferred but not required
Experience
- A minimum of 500 hours of substance use–related experience is preferred
