Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location: Saint Cloud, MN
Duration: 15 weeks
Shift: Day 4x9-Hour (07:00 – 16:30 or 08:00 – 17:30)
Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements:
Perform Interventional Radiology procedures including vascular, abdominal, neurological, and genitourinary interventions
Scrub sterile procedures, circulate cases, operate interventional imaging equipment, and send images to PACS
Assist with angiograms, angioplasty, stent placements, embolizations, dialysis access procedures, nephrostomy and biliary tube placements, ports, and other IR procedures
Operate Toshiba interventional radiology rooms
Collaborate with interventional radiologists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain radiation safety and sterile technique standards
Ability to stand for extended periods while wearing lead during lengthy procedures
Participate in call coverage including weekday nights and weekend call rotations
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
ARRT (R) certification
BLS certification
Experience with peripheral vascular procedures
Proficiency in PACS and contrast administration
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a teaching hospital environment
Trauma Level I experience
Experience with Toshiba/Canon interventional systems
Advanced IR procedures including nephrograms, kyphoplasty, internal/external biliary drainage, and venous access
CV scrub tech experience with peripheral vascular procedures considered
