Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of peripheral experience, ARRT, and BLS certification.
Responsibilities- Work in an interventional radiology department with 2 procedure rooms
- Assigned 2 interventional radiologists per day with support from 2 technologists and 1 nurse
- Perform procedures such as lower and upper extremity angiograms, atherectomy, mesenteric interventions, dialysis fistulagram/declot, nephrostomy tube/placement, biliary tube/placement, embolizations, and port placements
- Utilize Toshiba/Cannon interventional rooms (preferred experience)
- Duties include scrubbing, annotating, sending images to PACS, and circulating
- Day shifts consist of four 9-hour days per week, with shift times of 7:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Call requirement includes 1–2 call shifts during the week and 1 call weekend per 4-week schedule
- Mileage radius of 25 miles applies
- Responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating for interventional procedures, annotating images, and submitting to PACS
- Collaborate with a team that includes two interventional technologists, a nurse, and a radiologist during each shift
- Call involves both weekday and weekend coverage on a rotating basis
- Minimum 1 year of interventional radiology experience with focus on peripheral procedures
- Current ARRT and BLS certifications
- Experience with Toshiba/Cannon interventional suites preferred
- Proficiency in nephrogram, kyphoplasty, internal/external biliary drainage, and venous access preferred
- License required if applicable
