Medical Receptionist

Description We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our team in St. Cloud, Minnesota. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk and providing exceptional service to patients. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a healthcare environment while developing your administrative and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

- Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.

- Schedule patient appointments efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Process payments and provide receipts in an attentive manner.

- Verify insurance information and handle related documentation.

- Maintain and update patient demographics and records in the system.

- Answer and direct calls using a multi-line phone system.

- Address patient inquiries and resolve minor issues with a focus on customer satisfaction.

- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication and workflow.

- Ensure the front desk area remains organized and welcoming.

- Adhere to all confidentiality and compliance regulations within the healthcare setting. Requirements - Proven experience in customer service, preferably within a medical or healthcare setting.

- Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems.

- Familiarity with medical insurance verification processes.

- Ability to update and manage documentation accurately.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Experience with scheduling appointments and managing calendars.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
