What You’ll Do:
- Provide Hands‑On Care
:
Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal care, meal prep, and transportation while fostering independence. - Support Mental Health & Behavioral Management
:
Help individuals overcome behavioral challenges, offering compassionate, person‑centered care and working with behavior guidance plans as needed. - Create a Safe & Welcoming Environment
:
Maintain a clean, safe space that ensures comfort and support while helping individuals reach personal goals. - Mentor & Guide
:
Provide supervision, positive reinforcement, and guidance to help individuals achieve aspirations and assist with staff scheduling and program consistency. - Household Management
:
Coordinate services including finances, activities, program services, family involvement, educational/vocational programs, health care/nutrition, and household management.
- At least 2 years of experience in delivery of significant behavioral health services; must demonstrate de‑escalation techniques, conflict resolution, positive support methods and person‑centered approach.
- At least 1 year of lead staff experience in residential services or a two‑year degree in a related field.
- Ability to understand and implement behavior support plans (BSP), treatment plans, functional assessments, individualized support plans (ISP), and person‑centered plans.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Passion for Helping Others
:
Experience with mental health conditions (e.g., bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety). - Physical stamina to stay on feet, walk, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic computer skills for tracking progress and documentation.
