OverviewPosition overview:
As part of the produce team, you’ll help ensure quality, availability, cleanliness, and freshness of produce to support member needs. You will be on the front line of customer service with a focus on a positive member experience.
- Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of the products; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; be flexible to the needs of the business; track goods; maintain in-stock levels; control shrinkage in a timely manner.
- Be an Expert: understand processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce; prepare products according to established standards; maintain product safety and follow sanitation guidelines; adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality.
- Be a Techie: leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate decisions; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Be an Owner: drive the performance of the area; stock and rotate department products; ensure quality and date control standards; minimize waste; assist customers according to company policies and procedures.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: advocate for the department and the club by delivering high-quality service and products; demonstrate energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; apply Open Door Policy in daily work.
- Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; identify opportunities for improvement; adapt to change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Additional compensation may include premiums up to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums depend on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
