Certified Nurse Midwife

Overview

UWH of Michigan is seeking a Full-Time Experienced Certified Nurse Midwife for their practices in St. Clair Shores and Macomb, MI. This practice is a leader in the field of women’s health care and has been serving their community for over 25 years. This position will provide the right candidate with a great work-life balance and the opportunity to join a well-established and expanding practice that is team oriented, collaborative and compassionate about patient care.

This will be a full scope CNM position seeing clinic patients, participating in inpatient rounds, deliveries and call. Candidate will be required to have a minimum of one year’s experience practicing as a CNM provider (clinical hours will not count as experience).

• 1 weekday call and 1:4 weekend call

• AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife
• Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
• Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN)
• Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license
• CPR and NALS Certification
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
• One year of full-time experience as a CNM is required
