Overview
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates with the health care team. Demonstrates clinical competence. May require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position, works independently and in collaboration with principal investigator when appropriate.

E. Jefferson between Stephens and Ten Mile Road, south of I-696.
Family Medicine Family medicine doctors are your one-stop providers for health care. They care for people of all ages and often for their entire lives. They help connect patients to the right specialists and manage care before, during, and after specialty appointments to ensure appropriate care. Henry Ford Health has hundreds of family medicine doctors with offices across southeast and south-central Michigan.
Some family medicine doctors do not see pediatric patients younger than 5 years.
Location: Henry Ford Medical Center - East Jefferson 24725 Jefferson Ave., St Clair Shores, MI 48080
Hours: 24 hrs./wk.
- no weekends or holidays
3 – 8 hours shifts per week with a pattern of working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30AM-5PM to cover the clinic. The 3rd week of the month will be Monday & Friday 8:30AM-5PM, and Thursday 8AM-4:30PM (due to an all-staff meeting at 8AM on Thursday). This part-time RN must also be flexible/willing to cover the remaining 2 days in the week when the other RN is on vacation or when our contingent RN cannot provide coverage.

Education & Experience- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.
- Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty.
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel.
- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
- Prefer EPIC Experience
- Prefer Ambulatory/clinic experience
- Ability to triage, answer patient in-basket messages (including telephone calls and advice).
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
- Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy.
- Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, e.g., Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
