Overview

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and energetic Activities Aides to join our team at Cranberry Park  Activities Aide will assist in planning, organizing, and implementing engaging recreational and social activities for our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

• Assist in the development and implementation of daily activity programs tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
• Engage residents in group and individual activities such as games, crafts, music, exercise, and outings.
• Provide support and encouragement to residents to participate in activities and socialize.
• Help set up and clean up activity areas and materials.
• Observe and report any changes in residents’ behavior or health to the Activities Director or nursing staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all participants.
• Assist with transportation and supervision during outings and special events as needed.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a coordinated approach to resident care and activities.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with seniors or in a recreational setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage residents with diverse needs and abilities.
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor.
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist residents as needed throughout the day.
• Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.

This position is based at Cranberry Park at ShorePointe, a senior living community dedicated to providing a warm and supportive environment. Activities Aides will work closely with residents and staff in a dynamic and rewarding setting.
