About the Role

Were hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate I to join our St Charles team. The Warehouse Associate I is an entry position and entry level warehouse duties and functions including picker, packer, box maker, palletizer, material handler, cross dock, and quality assurance.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

The following duties are an overview of the primary duties and responsibilities of the

Warehouse Specialist and should not be considered an all-inclusive list:

* Perform quality inspections on outgoing shipments

* Pick, pack, and handle materials for orders

* Process packages for shipments to include; packaging, labeling, stacking, and palletizing

* Maintain a safe, clean working environment

* Participate in quality improvement processes

* Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

* Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods preferred

* Ability to work with minimal supervision and a willingness to learn

* Commitment to excellence and high standards

* Flexible, and able to move within entry level warehouse positions noted above.

* Acute attention to detail

* Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

* One to two years related experience or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements of this Position

* Continually required to stand

* Continually required to walk

* Frequently required to sit

* Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity

* Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl

* Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items less than 25 pounds or up to 50 lbs

* Must be able to operate specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles including dollies, electric dollies, and/or pallet jacks.
