Purpose Statement
Extra-curricular activities are a valuable extension of the student experience. As an Assistant Tennis Coach, you will inspire, motivate, and teach students tennis-specific skills while fostering positive character traits and building meaningful relationships with athletes both on and off the court.
Minimum Stipend Offered$2,325
Key Responsibilities- Assist in planning and conducting team practices and drills.
- Provide individualized coaching to athletes, focusing on technique and strategy.
- Support the Head Coach in managing team dynamics and match preparation.
- Encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline among athletes.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes during practices and competitions.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school staff.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Passion for teaching and coaching tennis.
- Knowledge of tennis techniques, rules, and match strategies.
- Completion of 60 or more college credit hours prior to coaching.
