HVAC Technician

Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to join our Facilities Team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining comfort, safety, and operational continuity across the property. The ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, and capable of diagnosing and repairing a wide range of HVAC and mechanical systems in a fast-paced environment.

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including VAVs, heat pumps, exhaust fans, and air handlers
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and system performance checks
• Diagnose issues with refrigeration, electrical components, motors, compressors, and controls
• Monitor and adjust building automation systems (BAS/BMS)
• Maintain accurate logs, service records, and compliance documentation
• Respond promptly to service calls, alarms, and equipment failures
• Ensure all work meets safety, regulatory, and company standards

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of HVAC service or maintenance experience in commercial or industrial environments
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical troubleshooting, and airflow diagnostics
• Familiarity with BAS/BMS platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Ability to work in mechanical spaces, rooftops, and hot/cold environments.

• Experience in hospitality, gaming, or large commercial facilities
• Knowledge of boiler systems, chillers, and cooling towers
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfort working with CMMS/work order systems
