Carpenter/Finisher – 2nd Shift
Position Title: Carpenter/Finisher – 2nd Shift
Location: St. Charles, MO
Schedule: 2nd Shift 1:00 pm – 11:30 pm (4‑Day/10‑Hour Shift)
About Craftsmen IndustriesCraftsmen Industries, Inc. custom manufactures specialty trailers, vehicles, and large‑format printed elements for experiential marketing and industrial solutions. They fabricate products from design and engineering to finishing touches of graphics and paint, serving brands such as Boeing, Pepsi Co, and Anheuser‑Busch.
Responsibilities- Assist in construction and repair of custom trailers, displays, and vehicles under experienced technicians.
- Work under supervision to meet project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
- Follow verbal instructions and complete tasks assigned by Team Leads or supervisors.
- Perform sanding, grinding, and polishing to ready surfaces for inspection.
- Read blueprints or written instructions and prepare construction materials.
- Communicate suggestions and efficiencies to leadership and peers.
- Unload and carry materials to construction sites.
- Engage in continuous learning and on‑the‑job training.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and store tools properly.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines.
- Document work performed and parts used.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in welding, carpentry, construction, HVAC, mechanical trades, electrical fields, or related education/certification.
- Ability to read tape measures, protractors, and basic technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Initiative to learn and take on additional responsibilities.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with air and electric hand tools.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
