The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Chicken n Pickle is responsible for maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability, service metrics, property, and quality goals. The AGM ensures efficient restaurant operations and maintains production goals, productivity, efficiency, quality, and customer-service standards. Success in this role requires the ability to remain calm in a high-volume environment, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a willingness to learn various restaurant systems.
Responsibilities- Oversee staffing levels and Cost of Goods.
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety, liquor requirements, and quality standards.
- Drive for financial accountability and manage financial aspects of the restaurant.
- Maintain extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with an understanding of ingredients and dishes in a restaurant or catering organization.
- Utilize restaurant management software, including Hot Schedules, Point of Sale, and accounting software.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, motivational, and people skills.
- 3+ years of full-service, high-volume management experience.
- Knowledge of Food Safety, liquor requirements, and quality standards.
- Understanding of and drive for financial accountability.
- Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software, such as Hot Schedules, Point of Sale, and accounting software.
- Acute financial management skills.
- Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills.
